The Gerarden Family

Football, Soccer & Baseball

With SAA's guidance, all three Gerarden children found their path. Their son earned a football kicking scholarship at South Dakota Mines & Tech, set school records, and now works as a Project Engineer. Their daughter played four years of soccer at Point Loma Nazarene and launched her HR career at Turner Construction. When injuries threatened their youngest son's baseball dreams, SAA helped him find a path through community college to Point Loma, where he contributed to record-setting seasons and deep National Championship runs.

Malia Grantor

Alpine Ski Racer, Rocky Mountain College

Malia's ski racing journey began at Stevens Pass at just two years old. After years of competitive racing with Skykomish and Mission Ridge Ski Teams—where she earned the 2023 sportsmanship award—she now competes for Rocky Mountain College. Last season, she helped lead her team to a first-place finish at Nationals while earning Second Team All American and Academic All American honors as a Kinesiology major.
